My mother – in – law has alzheimers or some type of dementia. It is hard to lose the person that you used to know.

  • Siggi from How To Deal With Jealousy says:

    Hey, my grandfather had alzheimers.
It’s really not a nice disease since it robbed him blind of all memories about me.
If someone close to you has this disease, be prepared to face the fact that you won’t be recognized. I made the wise decision of staying away for the last months so I would just remember my grandfather like he lived, not how he died.

    Good luck.
