@DeletedDelusion those aren’t conservative Christian values on divorce. What we saw many decades past,when? no-fault divorce wasn’t around,were conservative Christian values or at least close.

Same here. The only reason I’d? attack Robertson for this, is his strict morals elsewhere.
I have to…agree with pat? If it’s not the person? you married, you might not love them any more, as cruel as it would be to leave them in their time of need some people just can’t handle that kind of stress and I don’t think they should be forced to because of some stupid piece of paper in a church.

I did this because these conservatives only use religion to vail their antisocial? personality. They pick and choose from scripture as they please and claim the sole only right to interpret what it means to be Christian.
Yes, I’m a non-believer but I do recognize that the miseable character of certain self proclaimed “Christians” alone does not justify rejecting scripture. It was the reason begun to question though

I’m surprised Pat didn’t blame Alzheimer’s on lesbians and gays. Now I don’t have to feel guilty? about giving someone that illness. But in all seriousness, Alzheimers’s is a crappy illness to have. I had a late relative who had it and it was just sad to see him forget things, especially names of friends and family. I hope to never have that illness, but if I ever do or I am in a relationship with someone and they get it, then I hope neither of us leaves the other. That’s just me though.

Pat Robertson got? the stereotype all wrong: homosexuality is bad only when males do it. But he was just two letters off. He should really refresh his memory with the “GOP Member’s Guide to Political Power.” I think it said in the chapter labeled “How to Suck up to the Conservative Demographic”: “disrespecting gays is the way to get in the hearts of the people.” I think they didn’t actually explain what a gay is besides “evil.” His misconception is quite accurate if you think about it.

So what he’s saying is my mom who takes care of dying people (one with Alzeinmers she’s been taking care of now for years despite her own medical problems and orders from her doctor to cut down on work) is a better person than Pat Robertson and his fans because she doesn’t just drop people when they? get difficult in their times of need. Oh, yeah and she’s an atheist so definitely going to hell for her good deeds.
My dad has dementia and my mom’s been looking after him for a few years now. She? doesn’t believe in God and has more moral courage and backbone than this scummy preacher Pat Robertson.
