Which 3 Jobs Should I Choose?

Ok I got offered 3 jobs, and have been working for about a week now.

1) – Be A personal caregiver for a man who may pass away with cancer in 3-6 months, however is only part-time and not sure if this is stable. The rewarding part is they are a great family and I will be helping a family in time of need.

2) Full-time as a cashier at Navlet’s for an uncertain amount of pay, but full time and stable and right down the street from my house.

3) Working full time as a caregiver for a caregiving agency an hour and full-time and benefits.

I’m really confused as what to do, I really want to continue working for this family but they seem unpredictable and I need stability in my life.

why are people who call themselves 'pro-life' against stem cell research?

don’t they want to save lives?? isn’t that the point?? the embryos used in STR were going to be destroyed anyway. i would think a person labeled ‘pro-life’ would be supportive of a medicine that can cure some of the world’s most devastating diseases (cancer, alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, spinal cord trauma, diabetes, liver disease, etc.)

just trying to get people to understand their own labels

Does anyone know the best interactive sites for people with Parkinson's Disease?

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year, although I’ve had it for about 7-8 years prior. I’m trying to find sites or boards that people interact productively and also provides additional concrete information. I am so used to researching other diseases that I have (such as cancer) that I have not done enough research on the one disease that is destroying me the most with devastating PAIN and life changes.

What was the name of that book about the grandfather with Alzheimer's?

It was a kid’s book about a boy who was really close to his grandfather and he calls him Skelly. I can’t remember the main character’s name, or anyone else’s for that matter. Well his grandad wakes up one day and he doesn’t remember his own wife or grandson. And before that he had cancer and the doctor couldn’t do anything about it so he sent the guy home to live the rest of his life (next few weeks) on his farm. Anyone know? Please answer!

If AIDS is really the epidemic the media would have us believe, where are all the dead celebrities?

30 years of AIDS, and only a handful of celebrity deaths from the disease, almost all of whom were gay… If the disease is really such an epidemic, where are all the celebrity deaths of straight, non-intravenous-drug-using celebrities?
Car crashes, plane crashes, drug overdoses, drivebys, coronoaries, cancer, Alzheimers, you name it–seems to me Celebrities are dropping dead like flies of everything BUT AIDS!

              Bad News and Terrible News?

Doctor: I have some terrible news for you and some bad news for you.

Patient: Tell me the terrible news first.

Doctor: You have cancer with only three months to live.

Patient: What is the bad news?

              Doctor: You have Alzheimers disease.

              Patient: Whew! What a relief!

Doctor: What do you mean..what a relief?

Patient: For a minute there, Doc, I thought you were going to tell me I had cancer!
Oh! sorry everybody, I meant to put this in jokes and riddles.

Cancer and hospice care…..what to expect?

First of all thank you to all that have answered ALL of my questions, because I have posted quite a few lately. My grandpa was diagnosed yesterday with Pancreatic cancer, and it has spread from last month….they did a CT scan last month and then Friday…there is nothing they can do, he has Alzheimers disease, and physically not able to handle any type of treatment. He is being discharged from the hospital on hospice…what should I expect in the last days? How long does somebody survive from the cancer after it has spread? Thank you for your answers!

How does dementia compare to AIDS and Cancer?

From a cultural point of view, do you know why dementia has been compared to AIDS and cancer?
Listen, Pk_dag, the windbag, I don’t mind arrogance but only when it comes from someone who can afford it. Your comment proves that you are clueless as to the meaning of my question (next time, pay attention to the category as well. that’s the think you need to select prior posting just in case you haven’t noticed. it is there for a reason.. If I were you, I would try to cool off for a while.. that’s too much farting around you’ve been doing for absolutely zero… and it is beginning to stink up the place.
hint: dementia, AIDS and cancer all belong to the recent history of diseases. the three of them have been directly linked to our changing lifestyles.
