What is the recommended diet for a 67 year old with Parkinson's Disease?
can anyone recommend the type of diet a 67 year old man should be on, as doctors in the UK are useless. He is currently on cabergoline, 4 times a day.

Why am I so forgetful?
Okay… I’m 19, and a freshman in college, just this year it seems like I have Alzheimer’s. Okay, thats a little drastic…
Anyways, I’ve been noticing that I forget things, it started out like once a week, then gradually began to build, to the point I at least forget something everyday. Not like brushing my teeth, but like storytelling, or someones name.
I’ll start out asking a question, or telling a story and then find myself saying, "Um, Uh," and then I forget everything I was going to say, or even the point I was trying to make. Its frustrating. I’m 19 and memory problems like my grandma. I have trouble remembering my friends names, and or family members names. It occurs EVERYDAY. Whats bothersome, is when my "brain farts" occur when I’m taking a test. I’ll look down at the paper, begin reading and start to answer the questions, then BAM, I forget everything, then when I’m about to give in, and turn the quiz in to fail, something will jog my memory and then I know the answers again. It’s not lack of studying, or lack of sleep. I’m a good student, I don’t drink, or do drugs. So what would cause these "brain fart" occurrences?
I’m gonna have to say.. my diet hasn’t changed.
And I don’t think i’m stressed.

Is there anything that can be done about Parkinson's disease besides symptomatic relief?
A friend with PD seems to be in denial about how serious this is, but maybe that doesn’t matter. Medication has stopped the shaking and he is treating it as a minor nuisance. This may actually be a healthy attitude, but I wonder if he should be taking it more seriously . Is there something else he should be doing, diet or lifestyle changes or anything else to slow the inevitable decline?

How can I cope with my mother's early-onset Alzheimer's?
My 55-year-old mother has had a form of dementia similar to early-onset Alzheimer’s for most of my life (I am a 23-year-old law student). It was barely noticeable at first, so I have memories of her helping lead elementary school field trips and activities, but the degenerative brain disease has progressed significantly over the past ten or so years. She hasn’t been able to drive for about four years now, and she has been staying at an Alzheimer’s daycare facility Monday through Friday for about two years. She can’t really talk anymore (her words don’t make much sense), and she hugs and kisses strangers. She passes gas frequently, and we have to constantly monitor her at home or she’ll eat anything she can get her hands on. My father has to talk her through showers and give her extensive help with grooming (he’s having to just do more and more himself, including things like shaving her legs and underarms).
The thing is, she’s extremely happy. She loves life, and she’s in great physical health (though overweight, despite our controlling her diet and her love of walks). It’s my dad and I who are at our wits’ end.
My dad just brought her home from the Alzheimer’s home that she stayed at while we went on vacation (the first time without her–it was extremely freeing), and I’m already disgusted, angry, and depressed. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with a situation that will probably only get worse? Thanks.
