Equality with a vengeance?
there are some groups who believe in equal parenting (despite history of DV), false allegations of rape and DV and punishment of women (although men also make false claims against women); attack DV services (that would also help men).
Do they seek equality with a vengeance?
xyonline:
The fathers’ rights movement will continue to seek an equality concerned with fathers’ ‘rights’ and status rather than the actual care of children (Rhoades, p. 156). The fathers’ rights movement will continue to pursue ‘equality with a vengeance’ (Rhoades, 2000, p. 155). It prioritises formal principles of equality over positive parenting and the well-being of women and children, conflates children’s welfare with parental equality and ignores actual caregiving divisions of labour. Its advocates will persist in trying to re-establish paternal authority and fathers’ decision-making related to their children’s and ex-partners’ lives (Bertoia & Drakich, 1993; Cornell, 1998,; Stacey, 1998,

False memory, false sexual abuse claims, vengeance, are all the diseases of women.
"Women get what they want by revising what they had."
If it isn’t true, they make it up and convince themselves it is true and men end up in jail or executed as a result.
On the contrary, I believe these groups are hurting legitimate masculinists. As well, these groups are attacking services that would help them; making false claims; and avoiding male-vs-male violence & only attacking women.
Why are Alzheimer's rates higher in developed countries?
I recently looked at a map of the disability-adjusted life year rates from Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases. I was shocked to see that developed nations like America and many countries in Western Europe had very high rates of Alzheimer’s. Is there a reason for this? I would assume it’s because of the long life-spans here, but I would have thought that proper diets and accessibility to medicine would counteract it. Thanks for any answers!
Should there be an age limit on the Presidency? ?
The Constitution requires a President to be 35 years or older. Experience is never mentioned. Not every senator could run for the Presidency because the native born requirement does not hold for the Senate.
Due to advances in modern medicine people do live longer, however, medicine has not made the same progress in stopping mental deterioration, so Alzheimers and other diseases of age are more prevalent. Should there be a standard "upper age" limit for the office?
Why, and if so, how would that age be determined?
What Can I Do For My Mum?
Both my grandparents are in care homes. My granddad was diagnosed with Parkinsonisms (a disease which mimicks Parkinson’s Disease) and Vascular Dementia. My gran was having to care for him and we later found out she has Alzheimers. My gran is in a Care Home and my grandad is in a Nursing Home. My mum has had to do a lot for them over the past few years, and it has been hard on her. The slow deterioration of these diseases makes it harder to deal with I think. My mum has 2 siblings who scoot the responsibilty over to my mum.
I have noticed over the past few months that my mum is more stressed than even before. She is in an almost permanent bad mood, constantly moaning, shouting. She’s also prone to emotional outbursts lately. My dad agrees with this and when we’ve tried to tell her to maybe get some medication to help, she says she doesn’t need it, and that she’s like this because of what she’s going through.
I don’t know what we can do to help her. It would also help me and my dad because it is hard dealing with my mum at the moment! I’m really not sure what action we should take with this, and I understand how hard this is on her because I’ve been living with it aswell for the last few years, I just think there must be something that can help her.
I’d really appreciate it if someone could suggest anything that they know might help?

Which disorders will be cured?
Hi I have Aspergers syndrome and I know most syndromes can be cured. For example I heard that Down syndrome, Alzheimers disease, herpes, Huntingtons, and Parkinsons diseases can be cured within the next decade. If they located the defficient chromosones in thes disorders they can cure them. Wouldn’t the same theory apply to Aspergers? I desperately want out of this hell!

why are people who call themselves 'pro-life' against stem cell research?
don’t they want to save lives?? isn’t that the point?? the embryos used in STR were going to be destroyed anyway. i would think a person labeled ‘pro-life’ would be supportive of a medicine that can cure some of the world’s most devastating diseases (cancer, alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, spinal cord trauma, diabetes, liver disease, etc.)
just trying to get people to understand their own labels

Why are people misinformed about marijuana?
Just like people have a couple beers after work, some enjoy a bowl or two of weed. Many people uninformed about drugs will say weed is bad for you and messes up your head but they haven’t obviously read studies showing no brain damage. Check the link below, marijuana helps brain function? Funny that a drug people say is bad is useful in many different diseases including Alzheimer’s. Not to say there are people who become unmotivated by pot, but that is not always the case. I work and i am a full student and smoke pot everyday after my day is over. so whats wrong with that? Alcohol actually causes the brain to slow down and many other heath issues.

Do you think this is a good treatment option?
I am in the process of starting to work for a website that is not up yet (www.stemcellscanhelp.com) and i just want some feedback. The website will be up in about a week or so. But we will be in charge of medical procedures using Umbilical cord stem cell therapy. It can help with things like cerebral palsy, leukemia, alzheimers disease, multiple sclerosis and so much more. A lot of people don’t think about it as being a good idea, but it really is. Umbilical cords that are normally thrown away in the hospital after a healthy baby is born is stored and used to cure people of life altering diseases. so do you think that it is too controversial still? If you were pregnant would you consider donating to a family member that you loved?
